There are self-service scanners you can use to make copies of original documents, available just outside the Document Reading Room on the first floor. Please talk to the staff on duty in the area to find out if it is possible to make copies of your particular documents using this equipment.

There are also self-service scanners in the Map and Large Document Reading Room on the second floor.

When you have finished with your documents you'll need to return them to the document returns counter, on the first floor.

When you have finished with all your original documents and your allocated table in the Document Reading Room, please swipe out using your Reader's Ticket at the swipe machine just outside the entrance to the reading room - that way someone else can use your table.

If you are in the Map and Large Document Reading Room, on the second floor, you will need to return documents to the counter there.
