Crystal Palace in winter.Crystal Palace in winter. This water colour pop-up card was published in 1873 by Benjamin Sulman. The card represents Crystal Palace in winter after it had moved to Sydenham, South London from its previous home in Hyde Park where it housed the Great Exhibition of 1851. The original image is featured in the "Movers and Shakers: Geoffrey Chaucer to Elton John" exhibition.
