Outreach
The focus behind all Archives 4 All projects rests on the notion of access and outreach. The aim is to provide greater access to archival resources and to reach new audiences who would not normally use an archive.
The outreach programme for the project Mauretania: Pride of the Tyne has encouraged the sharing of knowledge between the generations and the celebration of shipbuilding heritage from the Mauretania and beyond with generations who now have no direct experience of it.
1967 and all that plans to promote awareness of the importance of gay history as well as telling the story of the campaign for decriminalisation and the outreach programme for Letter in the Attic is to work with marginalised communities to ensure that the resultant outcomes will reflect the diversity of Brighton and Hove's population.
