Mauretania: Pride of the Tyne
This project will commemorate the centenary of the launch of the Mauretania in September 1906 and celebrate local pride in ship-building. A collaborative exhibition by Tyne & Wear Archives Service
and Tyne & Wear Museums, which will include the collection of personal testimony about the Blue Riband-winning liner, and the creation of accompanying learning material.
