The Government has accepted the following archives in lieu of tax and they now await allocation to suitable repositories.
The archive of the Coventry family, Earls of Coventry
The archive of the North family, Earls of Guilford
Papers of Frederick North, 5th Earl of Guilford
The Helen Anrep-Roger Fry papers
Any library, record office or analogous institution in the United Kingdom interested in being allocated the papers should contact the Director of HMC Advisory Services, National Advisory Services, The National Archives, Ruskin Avenue, Kew, Surrey TW9 4DU (email: nas@nationalarchives.gov.uk
) for further particulars in the first instance. Applications for allocation of any of these collections must be received in writing at the same address by 10 February 2006.
