The National Archives
Licensed Internet Associateships
A Licensed Internet Associateship (LIA) offers commercial partners a number of valuable unique benefits.
These unique benefits are:
- An LIA with The National Archives is an enhanced 'preferential' licensing opportunity. Only one such co-branded licence will be issued per record series
- Resident experts at The National Archives will provide advice during planning and development of the service without charge to the LIA
- The LIA partner service will benefit from direct promotional hyperlinks from our relevant websites - which will effectively function as a 'portal' for online image delivery of records
- LIA services will be promoted in The National Archives' email marketing lists and newsletters
- LIA services will benefit from the press and publicity coverage The National Archives generates on an ongoing basis
- Partners will directly benefit from the existing 'awareness infrastructure' The National Archives has developed in the UK, particularly with reference to genealogy/family history
The National Archives holds a wide range of public records, of both genealogical and academic interest. Find out brief details of just a few of our most popular records that we are looking to licence via the Licensed Internet Associateship programme.
